Rebecca O’Brien

Rebecca O’Brien is a partner and co-founder of O’Brien Cavanagh Ivanova LLP. Rebecca worked for Ropes & Gray, a leading international law firm, for five years before co-founding O’Brien Cavanagh Ivanova. Rebecca works with the goal of helping clients stay in control and informed. She currently focuses on trusts and estates, real estate, and small business law, and chose these areas because this work allows her to get to know her clients and their individual legal needs.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys genealogical research and playing basketball with her husband and two children. Rebecca and her family live in Lexington, where they are active in school and church activities.

Rebecca received her J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, where she was an editor of the California Law Review, and her B.A. with honors from Harvard College.
